首先，这是“the+比较级……，the+比较级……”的句型，表示“越……越……”。

比较级前面可以用much修饰，来增加程度，但不是必须加much。

但这句话中最明显的错误是：fatter前面用more修饰了。fatter是比较级，而比较级前面是不能用more修饰的。

所以应把more去掉。
